Concert Days

For the past few summers we have gone to "Live at the Gardens" concert series with a few of our close friends. These are basically outdoor concerts that you can bring a blanket, wine, food, etc., and picnic while you listen to music. These concerts are on of my favorite things about summers in Memphis. Well, you can imagine my delight when I heard they had the same type thing for kids at the Levitt Shell.

Last night the Chittick and Edwards families ventured out to our first kids concert of the summer. The babies absolutely loved it!!  A few things have changed, but we definitely had an awesome time.

Our picnics have changed from wine and cheese to popsicles and peas.

The bands have changed from "The Steve Miller Band" to "The Zinghoppers." The Zinghoppers are described as Barney meets Black Eyed Peas. While, I don't quite think they were anything like the Black Eyed Peas, they were non-the-less very entertaining.

The babies could hardly take their eyes off of them.

Ryan and Joe have gone from holding beers to holding babies.

These concerts may just be my new favorite thing about summers in Memphis.
